Agreed, simple is best. Hence the rather loose rules on what a Formula One vintage machine can be....your VFR certainly qualifies.

Phil, Instead of ZERO what about a default point award of say.....5 pts for a breakout? Better than zip all.

With regards to qualifing, for the riders effort, I think you should still get any Q. points you're entitled to. Should make the points chase interesting as we get further into the season.
