I'm thinking about get back to racing this year. The vintage class seems to have all but disappeared so I'm thinking an EX250. The old ones are have wheels, anyone know what the options are. I still have to find a bike so we'll see how it goes but just looking at the options.
I'm not really interested in track days. I think it may be my competitive nature. I may not be fast but I like to race against other riders. I like riding hard on the track and without the marshalls and EMT's there it's not something that appeals to me. But that's just me.
It always been 5 rounds. First round in May and ending September (but I think in October one year). It seemed nicely spread over the summer. Sucks for us vintage riders only having 4 rounds. Makes me wonder if it's worth it this year.
I've started to restore my H1 and I need a front rim. The stock rim is 36 spoke and 1.85 wide but I'm looking for a 2.15 width rim. It can be either steel or alloy, doesn't matter because it's going to be powder coated. Give me a call or PM if you have anything 220-9876

I only mentioned AMCRA because they introduced the system to the racers here. My only concern is that racers are required to have a transponder so I think it's up to you guys to make sure that it's affordable.
