636 in Sportbike
I'm just wondering if there is plans to adjust the rules to include the new 636 in the Sportbike class for the 2015 season?

Re: 636 in Sportbike
Eligible machines for Sportbike and Superbike will follow CSBK rulebook. CSBK has confirmed that the 636 has been eligible for sportbike since its intro in 2013. Although the CSBK rulebook has not yet been updated to reflect this, it is an eligible machine for sportbike.

New 636?? The 636 has been around since what 2003, how about a 675 Triple? Didn't Caleb win the under 600 championship on a 636?

Re: 636 in Sportbike
The original 636 was never homologated for CSBK and therefore not for ARL either. In 2003/2004 in CSBK, utilizing 66 parts to make a 620 was permitted and done. The new 636 came out in 2013 and was homologated for use in CSBK and therefore ARL.
Caleb apparently rode a 636, or 600/636 hybrid, though no one protested him. It is the Tech Inspectors role to confirm bikes meet safety regulations during tech and not confirm they are legal for a class, that is up to entrants. It is up to entrants to lodge protests with the referee if they suspect or know someone is running an illegal bike / component.

Re: 636 in Sportbike
Also, as per CSBK rulebook and 2014 sport bike champion, Triumph 675 is eligible for CSBK as is MVs triple.

Re: 636 in Sportbike
636 was only produced until '06 and made it's extra 37cc via larger bore, then in '07 they went back to the standard 599cc. '13 they returned with the 636cc however the new bikes make they're extra 37cc by increasing the stroke. I was under the impression that Caleb ran a '12 ZX6R making it a 599cc. I am glad to hear that the 636 will be homologated for the '15 season. Hopefully I can find the time and money to get it in Sportbike this year. Will Street Stock be ran again for 2015?
Re: 636 in Sportbike
Caleb never had a '12 zx6r he had a ex j szoke 07-08 zx6r that zx6 was a real 600, the 04 he ran was the 600/636 hybrid
